About Me:
My name is Sam Barrett-Lennard and I am 21 years old. I have over 13 years of drumming experience and have been tutoring students of all ages / abilities for over 2 years.
I'm a working and touring musician in DICE the band and when I’m not on the road I'm teaching drums out of my professional studio in North Perth. I have plenty of real world experience with not only drumming but making it in the music industry.
I’ve played at some of the biggest festivals in Australia, travelled the world multiple times touring and sold out multiple Australia tours. I have a song that placed #72 in the Triple J Hottest 100 and have recorded over 20 tracks including an album.
I love teaching a wide variety of styles and genres of music to students but my playing style is heavily influenced by Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) , Chad Smith (RHCP), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Stuart Copeland (The Police).
